Internet Marketing Blog For Newbies

I know…way off the subject of Internet Marketing, but what the heck.  I know about this stuff, and it works.  I don’t drive much anymore because I don’t have to.  I’m retired and work from home on the Internet.  I don’t drive 30 miles a week.

But lots of you out there commute long distances to work every day.  This technology (Run your car on water) works best when driving 15, 20, 30 minutes or longer at a time; freeway driving, commuting.  It works like this.  The water is in a jar (or small container) and is exposed to dc electricity from your cars electrical system.  The water turns into a gas know as “Browns gas” or “Hydrox”.  There’s several names for it, but it is a combustible gas that mixes with the intake air to your car’s engine and is burned giving you better gas mileage.  You can find out about it here Run Your Car On Water.

I understand Internet Marketing.  I know how it works.  I know what to do and a little about how to do it.  It’s taken me six months to get here.  I know how to build a website, upload it, blog it, drive traffic to it, run a autoresponder, get links, drive traffic, build a list, etc.  The thing is, you’ve got to know all that BEFORE you see what you have to do to make it pay off.  And, let me say, there’s still a long way to go.

But I couldn’t know what must be done now, if I hadn’t done all the education and work to get this far.  I found out a lot about myself along the way.  I discovered age discrimination.  I’m 66 years old.  Ain’t no one out there offering me a job.  If I want money I gotta make it myself.  I found that I rather enjoy sitting in front of my computer all day, every day.  And, trust me, that’s what it takes.  I found I could learn, and learn well, at my age.  I discovered I have a talent for doing this stuff, and that I like the interaction with people.

So far it’ been a good thing, this Internet Marketing.  I can clearly see that I have a lot of work ahead of me to make it pay off.  But that I am up to the job.  I invite you to follow in my footsteps.  My commitment to you is to make it a little easier, faster and cheaper for you than it was for me.

Learning about Internet Marketing has been the most difficult thing I have ever done. I’ve been at it full time for about 6 months now (now being June 08). I’ve learned a lot. I clearly know how frustrating learning this stuff can be. I’m at a point where I (mostly) know what Internet Marketing (IM) is about. I have a understanding of it…a overview.

That’s what I want to give to you. An Overview of Internet Marketing. I want you to have a “general understanding” of how it all works. What the component parts are, and how they work together. I want you to be able to “wrap your mind” around this IM thing. With that, a lot of the frustration goes away and you start to get somewhere.

Where you want to go is from where you are now to making money online. It is my firm conviction that if you do not have a fairly clear understanding of what the internet is and how it works, you will not make any money online. Most of the get-rich-quick junk that is sold online is just that… junk. So this is my first piece of advice to you; Get a good, well-rounded education about what the internet is, how it works and how money is made on the internet before you venture out into the wonderful world of Internet Marketing.
